The proper functioning of this Division makes for a smooth running of the entire Ministry. One would readily appreciate that several Units constitute the Division:
Registry: Responsible for receiving, documenting and dispatching all the Ministry’s correspondence. It is regarded as the information hub of the Ministry since the processed information guides the activities of the Ministry.
Accounts: Processes payment of salaries, ordering of stores, and payment of bills. Assist in drafting the Ministry’s budget
Personnel: Deals with staffing, indentifying training needs, implementation of personnel policies, rules and regulations and assist in the academic and personal development of staff.
Secretariat: Provides secretarial support to the Minister, Permanent Secretary and other members of staff. Provide relevant information to the enquiring public.
Drivers – Provide a critical support role in the area of transportation. They are integral members of the support structure of the Protocol Division.
